How would you describe the Innovation Awards to someone outside the tech industry?
It is the “academy awards” of Central Ohio technology innovation. Most of the advancements in our community start as an idea or a solution to an existing problem. The Innovation Awards recognize those who take the initiative and make a difference.
How has winning an Innovation Award impacted you and/or your Company?
The Outstanding Woman in Technology Award has helped with visibility in addition to allowing Epico to gain local and national attention. The award increases respect when negotiating with other companies during research and development. It helps bring further exposure to our company and helps with our external marketing and recruiting efforts.
Could you and/or your company have achieved this level of market awareness and exposure by other means?
No. An event like this has integrity and respect that translates well in our community. Winning this award from the growing number of qualified candidates is an honor and a privilege. It has truly raised awareness of Epico.
How would you describe the role of TechColumbus in the support of innovation in Central Ohio and beyond?
TechColumbus is an incredible facilitator and supporter of all technology- based companies in Central Ohio. It helps bring together many different parties that make the process efficient and productive. We are fortunate to have such a company in Central Ohio.

Innovation Awards showcases the fantastic contributions being made by companies that impact our community both locally and worldwide. TechColumbus gives us the resources for ideas, assistance, and support. It is an incredible organization that will pay dividends in helping Central Ohio move forward.
