What are the TechColumbus Innovation Awards?
Presented by TechColumbus, the annual Innovation Awards recognize outstanding achievements in technology leadership and innovation. From hundreds of entries, 13 outstanding leaders and teams who exemplify the best in technology leadership and innovation in 2011 will be honored during the Innovation Awards ceremony on February 2, 2012.
Why are the Innovation Awards important?
For over a decade, individuals, companies and technology teams have come together to nominate and celebrate innovations and innovators in Central Ohio. These Awards showcase the incredible contributions being made by companies both large and small that impact our community and the world at large. Past winners have built upon their recognition from this event to foster new relationships and awareness of their organization.

How do you make a Nomination?
You can nominate yourself, your client, your co-worker / peer, your company, your competitor, your vendor, or your mentor by filling out our short online Nomination Form.
What is the deadline for submitting a Nomination?
Online Nominations close Tuesday, October 11, 2011.
How do the Innovation Awards notify the person or team that I nominate?
When a person or team is nominated, their nomination is reviewed by the Innovation Awards Verification Team within 14 days of the nomination submission. If they meet the criteria of the category they are nominated for, their nomination will be approved and they will receive an email / postal letter with all the necessary information to submit their Nominee Packet for their specified award.
How do verified Nominees submit their Nomination Packets?
Verified Nominees will receive an email / postal letter with all the necessary information to submit their Nominee Packet for their specified award. Nominee Packets are submitted through our online Submission Form on the 2011 Innovation Awards website.
What is the judging process?
A panel of volunteer judges, made up of leaders in the field of technology and innovation, review all nominations by category. Evaluations are based on nominee submissions and conformity with eligibility requirements.
