CareWorks.com
The CareWorks Family of Companies provides a complete suite of innovative medical management services for workers’ compensation, disability, and integrated absence management that enable employers to control costs. Experienced and caring staff work with each client to design custom solutions that fit the unique requirements of each case.
Since its inception 16 years ago, CareWorks utilized an outside vendor to develop, manage and host its critical business applications and IT infrastructure. These systems were becoming outdated, cumbersome, and expensive to update and maintain as CareWorks grew to more than 900 associates. CareWorks did not want to put at risk its position as the preeminent service provider in Ohio’s workers’ compensation market, and made the bold decision to cease working with its long-time vendor and build all of its systems and related infrastructure in-house.
The impending expiration of the vendor contract mandated an aggressive timetable. CareWorks’ team was formed in May, 2011, and on February 26, 2012, delivered a first tier infrastructure and all required business applications with no interruption of service and improved business metrics in all areas!

The three “R”’s of Recycle, Reduce, Reuse are the nucleus of our program: we recycle post-consumer products that have never been recycled until our program, we reduce the amount of cigarette waste entering our landfills and the waters of America, we reuse used cigarette filters to make insulation products and pelletized plastic that are all themselves recyclable.

QuickSolutions.com
The Primary Financial Company (PFC) / Quick Solutions, Inc. (QSI) team created an enterprise class system (SimpliCD) capable of running a nationwide, $6 billion trading platform in a 100% cloud based (zero on premise server dependency) environment.
SimpliCD enables a one-of-a kind turnkey certificate of deposit program. The application is the only system of its kind. SimpliCD allows credit union investors to easily invest substantial funds in federally insured certificates of deposit (CDs) without the hassle, time and expense of investigating potential issuers and purchasing the CDs themselves. SimpliCD also gives financial institutions a convenient and effective means of generating liquidity by issuing federally insured CDs without having to spend the time and money to market their deposits nationally, analyze the market, or manage multiple CDs and deposit relationships. One of the largest obstacles the team had to overcome was the fact that no such system existed. Nor had any system of this size and scope been developed for a cloud based application. As such, the team had to build the system from the ground up!
