In January of 2011, NanoBlox Inc. commissioned its newly constructed nanodiamond detonation reactor. The synthesized nanodiamond was verified using both X-ray diffraction and transmission-electron microscopy.

Autism Data Connect (ADC) is a web based software app that is being designed to help a wide variety of caregivers that surround children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other related developmental disabilities.
We at WilData are creating a pilot of ADC in collaboration with Easter Seals Central & Southeast Ohio and Nationwide Children’s Hospital by utilizing a grant award from the Ingram-White Castle Foundation. The Foundation board is excited to see the partnership of non-profit organizations working with our for-profit corporation to help a wide variety of caregivers in the autism community.
ADC will be available so parents, teachers, therapists, and other providers of care can share data concerning the individual’s treatment. Improved communication between caregivers will assist in reaching common therapeutic goals and provide much better outcomes of treatment. Also, anonymous data will be provided to those involved in scientific research to help find the causes of autism and other disorders on the spectrum.
Zia Systems LLC is a small central Ohio business that provides innovative sensor technology to the construction industry. With the help from Third Frontier funding Zia has designed, developed and is now marketing sensor technology used in the rehabilitation of water and sewer pipelines.
Today the industry uses a trenchless process to repair pipelines, called Cured-In-Place-Pipe lining, or CIPP. This is done by inserting a resin-based liner inside the host pipe, and applying heat with steam or hot water, to cure and harden the liner.
Zia’s sensors are placed every six (6) inches along the pipeline between the host pipe and liner. Temperature readings are automatically recorded and graphed every 10 seconds. With this information, proper temperature, as well as proper heat duration, ensures that the liner was cured properly. In the past, this temperature information along the pipeline was unknown. The sensor system is embraced by municipalities, engineers and contractors. The system helps ensure that the lining work was done according to specifications. The system also reduces the cost of fuel, labor and equipment, and eliminates manual temperature recording.
